Care Assess is an independent assessment agency providing unbiased health and care assessments across Tasmania, since 1999.

 

Our Founding Directors had roles as Care Coordinators in Tasmania’s 1996-99 Coordinated Care Trial, Careworks, importing experience as Registered Nurses gained in providing specialised assessment, independently of service delivery. From this time, Care Assess specialised in independent assessment and quality assurance of assessment services.

 

Care Assess’ independent assessment agency service model maximises the opportunity for assessors to make autonomous, unbiased judgements in relation to care or funding needs and to minimise employer, professional and resource availability influences in the delivery of assessments
